[Author's note: character chat poll ends today]

Today's your last chance to vote on the character chat poll, so do it now if you're going to. Remember, you can vote for more than one, so if you already voted for one but now want to add another, you can.

Total standings as of this writing: Minis 12, Chevenga 9, Niku and Kyriala tied at 7, Gannara 5, Skorsas, Ailadas, Esora-e and Surya tied at 3, Kallijas 2, and "Other (in comment)" 1, which turned out to be a pranking vote by a waggish reader.

Shirley's reaction: "I guess they want to talk to our main characters and their squeezes."

I thought Chevenga would do better, but I kind of put him at a disadvantage by having PA and ak on hiatus through most of the voting period.

Maybe the biggest surprise is Surya getting three votes when he hasn't even shown up in either of the stories where the poll is posted. For those who don't know: he's a main character in asa kraiya. I definitely see a character chat in his future. Warning: he can't see your aura through the Internet.

So sometime in the near future--let's say within a couple of weeks--we'll do the chat. Needless to say we will let you know exactly when and where!
